FULL NAME: Merlin

PERSONALITY: Merlin is a man who walks the worlds in search of many things. he is mostly a man who cannot abide foolery and harm done to another person, and bullies are right out. He believes that Might can make right, but only when applied correctly. He believes in God, having shared the mind of God, and his Faith is unshakeable. He believes that Men need to steer their own ships of destiny, and yet, he is a busy body, always interfering, not because he thinks it is best, but because he cares, and cannot help himself. He loves games and tricks, and jokes, and he brings healing in odd ways, never without a price, never without a trick.
Merlin sometimes will seem almost nonsensical, as his powers and his insight make him feel he cannot be straight up with everything he says and does.
HISTORY: Merlin was born of the action of the Darkness known sometimes as the Devil when he raped a mortal woman, during a time when the Devil sought to break God's plan and bring about the Anti-Christ thousands of years early. Merlin, blessed by a holy man, baptized and taught both right and wrong, chose his own path, and became a paragon defender of man. His powers were those of wizardry or sorcery, drawing on the three paramount poles of power; God, Man, and the Darkness. He has learned other sources since, but those are still the three he usually uses.
He walked the Earth those early days as a child unaware of much but his determination to not bow too much to anyone. He saved people, fought dragons, and raised up kings, the greatest of whom was Arthur, Lord of the Summer Country called Camelot. Together, he and Arthur held back Darkness and the end of the Light for over three decades, but even that fell in time. Losing that, Merlin traveled, transcending both space and time, and wandered the universe, still populating legends, and discovering new things to do, new dreams to inspire.
He lived behind the guise of mortal eyes, letting men believe as they would, and inspired many men to follow in his footsteps or even steal his name.
ABILITIES: Merlin possesses the power of sorcery, to wield magic. He draws primarily on three sources of magic: The power of Man, the power of God, and the power of the Darkness sometimes called the Devil. Because of his heritage, he does so freely. He can cast many spells and create many effects. The most reliable of Merlin's powers at this stage is the ability to change his shape. Among Merlin's other spells and powers are the abilities to cast energy bolts, cast others into sleep, travel great distances, and call animals. He is also an adept counselor, warrior, and horseman, as well as a doctor of healing and medicine. He is skilled at making magical items that duplicate technological functions.
WEAKNESSES: Merlin likes women, and he hates to see someone hurting or in pain. He will often throw himself into battle, even against unbeatable foes, to save those who cannot save themselves. With sufficient power, he can be overwhelmed.

Do you enjoy living where you do? Why? Aye. I travel, and live as I please.
Where is your favourite place to be, and why? Glastenbury Tor, and the why? that would be telling.
Who is your closest friend/confidant? What do you like/trust about them? I have none. Foolish are the men who trust some confidant who is not their partner.
If you had one wish, what would it be? One wish? Feh. Such is for lesser men. I wish only to keep working to help others, and to see the Glorious Appearing one day.
What is your favourite hobby/pastime? Why do you enjoy it? Magic. Because there is nothing else that feels so good.
What so far has been the best day of your life? Why? When I met Nimue. Because she proved that love yet lived in the world, and I had doubted it.
Tell us something about you (something you can do, your personality, etc) that you feel is unique to you: I believe that no man is lost, and no being is irredeemable. Even the Lord does not believe that so unutterably.
